The hard work has finally paid off. The big carp I now exist in the waters I fish have finally revealed their true potential with fish now scaling in excess of 40lb falling to our baits. 3 day Angling Festival in the Portugal in March 2008

This competition is open to all nationalities and being held over 3 days on a private reservoir in the Alentejo region of Portugal . The competition date is set for the weekend starting the 5th October, last day fishing being the 9th March 2008. €2500.00 first prize!

Imagine the scene long warm days followed by equally gorgeous evenings that cry out to you to celebrate them with fine food, locally fresh caught bass and sardine, barbecued with friends or family camping on the shores of some beautiful lakes in the hills in the Alentejo.

hosts image May I immediately offer you a warm welcome to the updated 2007 Tightlines-Portugal.com website. Our aim here is to provide access to organised guided fishing trips and even DIY fishing coarse and sea angling holidays in the beautiful Algarve region of Portugal. Here we are able to provide excellent carp fishing for super carp, barbel fishing for mega barbel and black mouth bass in the many dams and huge barbel and sturgeon to 155lb in rivers in the region.

In addition to this we have on offer the opportunity for those of you who are seeking a 'different' experience, we are able to organise sea fishing for both shore, rock and beach fishing for bass etc and for the real enthusiast, charter boats for record breaking marlin fishing, shark fishing and corvina fishing.

Although these are all targetted at the more dedicated anglers who wish to fish with friends, all of what we offer is family friendly and combining an angling holiday with one with the wife and kids should not be discounted, there is so much more for a family to do other than fish or sit in the sun.
